About Les Hallais
Les Hallais is an old French corps de ferme with just over 4 acres of rural farmland in the Erve Valley in Mayenne. It was purchased by the current owners in April 2006 with a view to renovating it into an activity centre for groups of people who want to get away together.
The ensemble comprises three main buildings and two outbuildings. The first building, the House, is the owners' accommodation. The second, the Lodge, houses the kitchen, dining room, reception and lounge on the ground floor, and three bedrooms above. The third, the Grange, is a former barn, and houses the swimming pool, two activity rooms and four further bedrooms. The first outbuilding was converted into a storage area for fuel for the wood-fired heating, and the second was divided into a boiler room and a miniatures museum.

The owners acknowledge, with grateful thanks, support for this project from the Conseil Régional des Pays de la Loire, the Conseil Général de la Mayenne and ADEME.
