These options are a bit more active than those listed under Sightseeing. They're all in the local area, and we have checked the facilities out, so we can guide you if you need more information. Have fun!

A picnic by the river Distance 200m; 5 minutes on foot. Take some local artisan-baked bread, a selection of French cheeses and some Loire valley sparkling wine, then chill out and enjoy the scenery.
Rock climbing at the Canyon Distance 200m, 5 minute walk. The cliffs that enclose the Erve valley at the Canyon are available to climb and introductory sessions are run once a week in the holiday season.
Walk to the oratory of St Céneré Distance 2Km; 70 minute round trip walk. This little oratory is at the far end of a beautiful countryside walk that will take you along the river Erve and back via the pretty village of Saulges.
Swin golf with Mark Swin golf at Meslay du Maine Distance 10Km; 15 minutes by car. Swin golf is a fun form of golf, for all the family. You can also take it seriously, and the competition is intense in France for those that do.
Swimming and watersports at Gué de Selle Distance 28Km; 30 minutes by car. This beautiful expanse of water offers all the fun of the seaside but on a freshwater lake.
